To search for content, use the Search tool located under the dashboard in the upper right of any page. Type your keywords into the Search field. To narrow your search, click the arrow on the drop-down menu and select a category. When you are ready to search, click Go.
Areas divide your area into local communities. From the Home tab, click Areas in the horizontal navigation bar to see a list of your local communities. Then click on a community to view photos, galleries, and events from that community.
The Before & After section shows before and after photos that are sponsored by local businesses. Click Before & After to view these photos and galleries.
Categories are used to group content according to its subject matter. They are set up by the site administrator.
When you create a new gallery, you can use the Create Gallery dialog box to place it inside any category or subcategory that is currently listed on . See "How do I create a gallery?" for more information.
Posting comments is a great way to give people feedback on their photos. To post a comment, just click on the thumbnail of the photo you want to post a comment to. Then, type your comment into the Post A Comment box. Click Go when you're finished.
Editors' Picks are new or noteworthy galleries and photos that the editors have selected. To view the Editors' Picks, click on the Home tab. Then, click on Editors' Picks in the horizontal navigation bar. This will display the Editors' Picks galleries. To view the Editors' Picks photos, point to Editors' Picks and click Photos in the submenu that appears.
Tags are keywords or terms associated with or assigned to content (for example, a gallery or photo ). You can think of them as labels that make it easy to group related content.
If the content that you are viewing has tags associated with it, you can click on a tag to see other content with the same tag.
To view all of the tags in use, click Tags in the horizontal navigation bar.
Note: You must be on the Home tab to see the Tags option.
There are two different ways to display the tags:
When you upload new content, or create a gallery, you have the option to add tags. For example, if you have a photo of your dog, Benji, playing Frisbee, you could tag it "Benji dog terrier Frisbee".
Note: You can only use letters and numbers in your tags. No special characters will be recognized.
To add tags to existing content, click the edit link for the content to which you want to add tags. Type your tags into the "Tags" box and click Update when you are finished.
